We have two successful Kickstarter projects under our belt, but we know we have one more in us. This time we will be calling on all Smith & Bradley fans and previous backers to help us design a digital-analog tactical watch. We are still a few week away from launching the project, but we wanted to give our fans a heads-up. Furthermore, we will have not yet come up with a name for the Swiss-Made tactical tool, so we will need help in the naming process.
Digital-Analog watches are not a new phenomenon. Casio created the first digital-analog watch all the way back in 1982. A great article on digital watch evolution by BBC provides further background. This watch was way ahead of its time and represented a new milestone in technology. While the Japanese technology was top notch, this was far from a rugged, tactical watch.

Over the years, the Swiss, realizing that digital watches were here to stay, eventually began to meld their precision watchmaking with digital technology. Now analog-digital watches are in the lineup for brands like Breitling, Bell & Ross, Concord, Swiss Army, Movado, and others.
As with all of our designs, lead designer Jerommie Smith started with an idea and a sketch. Smith & Bradley wanted to design and manufacturer and Swiss digital-analog watch that blends form & function, and is affordable enough to wear and wear rough. We think you will like what we came up with.
