We've been getting some questions lately about what's going on with Smith & Bradley Custom Watches and Smith & Bradley Designs. The process of developing a strong custom watch line is a detailed and difficult one. We have been dedicated to allowing our fans own a part of the design process of their watches, and we created a separate website over at Smith and Bradley Designs to run through the process. At the same time, we are moving towards launching custom watch building on the Smith & Bradley retail website. Our development team is working on a concept of bespoke watch building with a level of quality and simplicity that has never been seen before.
The demand for Smith & Bradley Custom Watches, that is the Draper and the Atlantis lines, has been overwhelmingly strong. In order to keep control over the process, we are offering our custom watches directly through Smith & Bradley or through various hand selected partners. It is a process that inherently calls for some back-and-forth and will be handled on a case-by-case basis. Stay tuned for details about any upcoming shows or events, and be sure to check Instagram for finished products.
The Smith and Bradley custom watch process is a simple as it is revolutionary. As with anything project, narrowing options and achieving quality and efficiency are both very important. This is especially true in custom design. We have determined that The Atlantis, Atlantis Professional, and Draper cases are our most popular custom designs, and have opted to commit to these pieces alone for our Custom Line. The decision to include the Draper was also due in part to cross-over appeal that the watch has for female customers.
We have narrowed down the most popular colors after a significant and in-depth survey process and the winning choices will be available. Additionally, the options for straps have been significantly reduced in the hope that the focus will be on the watch rather than the strap. Our straps remain high quality and Incredibly functional and fashionable, however as watchmakers, we want to keep the focus where it belongs and that is designing a truly remarkable time piece directly to your specification.
As always, we're more than happy to talk directly with any potential clients about the process and pricing. At Smith & Bradley, we want to create an experience for watch buyers like nothing else before and establish a relationship to that you may have with your tailor.
Stay in touch for more information, and keep tuned to our Instagram and Facebook profiles as we develop are truly unique approach to custom watches. Recently, we were asked why are friends of Trunk Club Custom to attend an event at the Chicago Clubhouse. We hope to conduct similar shows on a sporadic basis throughout the year.
